AI Chat Exporter for Safari
Privacy Policy
Developer and data controller
Jelizaveta Cervjakova is the developer of AI Chat Exporter for Safari and the data controller for any personal data she receives in connection with the app, such as a support email. Contact: lcervjakova15@gmail.com.
Summary
The Safari app and extension process chat content on your Mac to create PDFs. Jelizaveta Cervjakova does not collect the chat text, images, generated PDFs, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or Safari Pro transaction records from the Safari build.
On-device processing
- The extension reads user-visible content on supported ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini pages only when providing export controls and a user-requested PDF export.
- Chat content is rendered into a PDF locally. The content and resulting PDF are not uploaded to the developer or an AI Chat Exporter service.
- Preferences, daily quota state, and Safari Pro entitlement state are stored locally. Entitlement state is shared only between the containing Mac app and its Safari extension through their Apple App Group.
- Apple processes App Store purchases. The developer does not receive full payment-card details or send Safari purchase records to an external app server.
Provider image requests
To include a user-visible image in an exported PDF, the app may request that image directly from the provider-hosted or source image URL used by a supported ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini page. The operator of that image host may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and user agent under the privacy terms applicable to the source. The developer does not proxy, receive, or retain the request, image, chat content, or PDF.
Data collection and sharing
The Safari build has no account login, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, telemetry endpoint, or external billing link. It does not share user data with the developer or data brokers. Apple and the supported AI providers handle data under their own policies. If a service processes data on the developer's behalf in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
Support correspondence
If you choose to email the developer, she receives the contact details and information you include so she can respond. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. Sending an email is separate from the app's on-device processing.
Retention, deletion, and consent
- The developer has no Safari chat content, PDF, analytics, or Safari account record to retain or delete.
- Local app preferences and entitlement cache remain until macOS removes them or you reset/remove the app. PDFs remain wherever you chose to save them until you delete them.
- You can revoke the extension's website access in Safari Settings at any time and remove the extension or app to stop further processing.
